You know, the firewall that comes with Windows should be a cinch to use and should work. Don't know why so many alternatives are needed. Some of them are actually quite annoying because pop-ups come up every 5 seconds asking you if you want to allow or deny the connection.

I agree with the updating. Microsoft periodically releases updates that everyone needs to download and install immediately!

Firewall that comes with Windows (XP and up) is pretty much good for nothing, IMHO. If you really need firewall (and you should) then you must install some decent one.

every thing is good, but you need more than it,
firewall of windows doesn't work any longer now a days, you have to install windows defender
anti virus and anti spyware are coming in one pack now a day, windows essential is the free software by microsoft and to run it you have enable automatic update.
